Who are The Internal?

An introvert is a person who needs and enjoys significant time alone for solo reflection.

An empath is a person who is highly in tune with the emotions of other individuals.

A highly sensitive person experiences sensory stimuli on a higher level than the average person.

As Architects, designers, homeowners, and real estate owners continue to have conversations about Universal Design, introverts, empaths, and highly sensitive people should be part of the conversation since they are at minimum 20% of the population. I plan to lead that conversation.

"I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Quiana, and in a short time, she has made an impression. Quiana handles the many challenges thrown her way with grace and generosity of spirit. She was brought on to support our sales and design efforts. You can hear her smile through the phone, and she is always attentive to our clients. Her role requires many skill sets, and here are the ones of strength for Quiana: her ability to problem solve is creative, she is smart, the learning curve with our operating systems has been faster than most, and she has great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. What also has helped her with this role and will serve her as she moves forward is her work ethic and willingness to do whatever it takes. I’ve been in the design industry for over 20 years and have selected talent at many levels, so I knew Quiana would be a great addition to our team given her past experience, current interests, and future aspirations. We feel fortunate that she is part of our team here!"

Hi, I'm Your Interior Designer

My name is QuianaRose, and I am the owner of Design A Rose Interiors. I design residential and hospitality spaces that accommodate the under-served needs of the introvert, the empath, and the highly sensitive person by creating spaces that help them avoid social and sensory overwhelm.

I am an introvert, an empath, and I have some qualities of the highly sensitive person. I term these character traits The Internal. And because I am an interior designer, which means I solve problems for a living, I have personally created a set of guiding principles and design solutions to use when designing the perfect targeted space for any one or more of The Internal Person.

My Mom Started This

I decided to take my company, Design A Rose Interiors, and design residential and hospitality spaces that accommodate the under-served needs of the introvert, the empath, and the highly sensitive person by creating spaces that helped them to avoid social and sensory overwhelm. This is what I call Interiors for The Internal.

Because I know The Internal is typically studious and cautious, I made sure to offer options like my DIY: Designer In You online courses and info products. It's quite well documented that inward thinking people can actually be very social in online settings. This is why immersions like my DIY: Critical Knowledge interactive online course on designing your own interior space, gives The Internal a way to control their environment while also receiving professional, detailed and personal interior design assistance.

This allows me to serve my community of Rosebuds across endless locations. Design A Rose Interiors also offers eDesign options for those who don't quite want to DIY but may not be in my full service region.
